Ruling

WHEREFORE , the court finds accused Efren Loma y Obsequio alyas "Putol" GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of rape under Article 266-A paragraph 1 (a) of the Revised Penal Code and penalized under Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, and he is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua . He is also directed to indemnify AAA the amount of a) Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) as civil indemnity; b) Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) as moral damages; and c) Thirty Thousand Pesos (P30,000.00) as exemplary damages. Interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum is likewise imposed on all the damages awarded in this case from date of finality of this judgment until fully paid. SO ORDERED.
