WHEREFORE, in Criminal Case No. 98-1805 and in Criminal Case No. 98-1806, Accused Manuel Esperida y Dio, is found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of rape, as defined and penalized under Art. 266-B, respectively, of the Revised Penal Code; he is hereby sentenced in each of the cases to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua and to pay Complainant AAA, the sum of P50,000.

No pronouncement is made as to costs. SO ORDERED.
