TL;DR — Ruling
WHEREFORE , finding the accused GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt for the crime of MURDER , as penalized under Art. 248 of the Revised Penal Code (as amended by Republic Act No. 7659) the Court hereby sentences the accused, EDUARDO CUESTA y ASTORGA Aka BOYET CUBILLA y QUINTANA , to RECLUSION PERPETUA . The accused is also hereby ordered to pay the heirs of the victim temperate damages in the amount of PHP25,000.

SO ORDERED.
