TL;DR — Ruling
WHEREFORE , in view of the foregoing, judgement is hereby rendered finding the accused Rodel Magbujos y Diola alias "Bodil", GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of MURDER defined in and penalized by Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by Republic Act 7659 hereby imposes on said accused the penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA , with all the accessory penalties of the law.
WHEREFORE , in view of the foregoing, judgement is hereby rendered finding the accused Rodel Magbujos y Diola alias "Bodil", GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of MURDER defined in and penalized by Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by Republic Act 7659 hereby imposes on said accused the penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA , with all the accessory penalties of the law. Furthermore, the accused is ordered to pay the heirs of the deceased the amount of Seventy Five Thousand Pesos (Php75,000.00) as civil indemnity; Seventy Five Thousand Pesos (P75,000.00) as moral damages; Seventy Five Thousand Pesos (P75,000.00) as exemplary damages and, Twenty Five Thousand Pesos (P25,000.00) as temperate damages. SO ORDERED.
