Ruling

WHEREFORE, premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered, convicting the accused Dominador de la Cruz alias "Boyet" guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of MURDER defined in, and penalized under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA. Said accused is hereby ordered to indemnify the heirs of the deceased Manolito Cauba in the sum of P80,000.00 as moral damages and the sum of P20,000.00 as actual damages and expenses, without subsidiary imprisonment in case of insolvency, and to pay the costs. IT IS SO ORDERED.
