WHEREFORE, the court finds the accused JOSE TABALESMA y OLEVETE GUILTY of RAPE under Article 335 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua plus costs. Further, to indemnify the offended party, Rosemarie Eco, with the amount of P20,000.00 as damages. SO ORDERED.
