WHEREFORE, premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered as follows: For failure to prove the guilt of accused Marlynda Laxa beyond reasonable doubt, said accused Marlynda Laxa is hereby ACQUITTED of the crime charged in the Information. WHEREFORE, premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered as follows: For failure to prove the guilt of accused Marlynda Laxa beyond reasonable doubt, said accused Marlynda Laxa is hereby ACQUITTED of the crime charged in the Information. For illegal possession of eight thousand eight hundred (8,800) grams of marijuana, accused Ernesto Laxa is found GUILTY of the crime charged and is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua; Accused Ernesto Laxa is also further ordered to pay a fine of five hundred thousand (P500,000.00) pesos. SO ORDERED.
