For illegal possession of eight thousand eight hundred (8,800) grams of marijuana, accused Ernesto Laxa is found GUILTY of the crime charged and is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua; Accused Ernesto Laxa is also further ordered to pay a fine of five hundred thousand (P500,000.00) pesos.
