WHEREFORE, finding the accused guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of MURDER, as defined and penalized by the Revised Penal Code, he is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty prescribed by Art. 248, in its medium period, that is RECLUSION PERPETUA. Accused is hereby ordered to pay the heirs of the victim in the amount of P50,000.00 in accordance with recent jurisprudence, and the further amount of P50,000.
