WHEREFORE , the foregoing premises considered, the Court hereby finds: Respondent Atty. Arnan Amor P. Salilin, then Branch Clerk of Court of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 28, Lianga, Surigao del Sur GUILTY of Gross Neglect of Duty; and Respondent Elgie G. Bongosia GUILTY of Grave Misconduct, Dishonesty, and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of Service.

WHEREFORE , the foregoing premises considered, the Court hereby finds: Respondent Atty. Arnan Amor P. Salilin, then Branch Clerk of Court of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 28, Lianga, Surigao del Sur GUILTY of Gross Neglect of Duty; and Respondent Elgie G. Bongosia GUILTY of Grave Misconduct, Dishonesty, and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of Service. Both respondents are DISMISSED from the service. Accordingly, their respective civil service eligibilities are CANCELLED , and their retirement and other benefits, except accrued leave credits, are FORFEITED . Likewise, they are PERPETUALLY DISQUALIFIED from reemployment in any government agency or instrumentality, including any government-owned and -controlled corporation or government financial institution. SO ORDERED.
