WHEREFORE, the appealed decision is hereby AFFIRMED with the following modifications: The accused-appellant is hereby found guilty of the crime of murder and is sentenced to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua . The award of P100,000 as moral damages in favor of the heirs of Siman is reduced to P50,000.00. SO ORDERED.
