WHEREFORE, the Resolution, dated October 14, 2022, of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Board of Governors approving and adopting the Report and Recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in CBD/AC Case No. l8-5670 is AFFIRMED with MODIFICATION. The Court FINDS respondent Atty. Robert Y. Peneyra GUILTY of violating Canon III, Section 6, as well as Canon IV, Sections 1, 3, 4 and 6 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability. He is DISBARRED from the practice of law. The Office of the Bar Confidant is DIRECTED to remove the name of Robert Y. Peneyra from the Roll of Attorneys. Let copies of this Decision be furnished the Office of the Bar Confidant, to be appended to respondent's personal record as a member of the Bar; the Integrated Bar of the Philippines; the Office of the Court Administrator, for dissemination to all courts throughout the country for their information and guidance; and the Department of Justice. This Decision is immediately executory. SO ORDERED.
