WHEREFORE , Sheriff Rodolfo V. Quitalig is found guilty of dereliction of duty and is ORDERED to pay a FINE of five thousand pesos ( P 5,000). Considering that he has already retired from the service, this amount is hereby ordered deducted from his retirement benefits. SO ORDERED.
