TL;DR — Ruling

WHEREFORE , in view of all the foregoing, the court finds the accused ARMANDO PEDIDO y BELOERA, GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Rape defined and penalized under Article 266-A in relation to Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code. The court hereby sentences the accused to suffer the penalty of Reclusion Perpetua. The period of detention of the accused shall be counted in the service of his sentence.

WHEREFORE , in view of all the foregoing, the court finds the accused ARMANDO PEDIDO y BELOERA, GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Rape defined and penalized under Article 266-A in relation to Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code. The court hereby sentences the accused to suffer the penalty of Reclusion Perpetua. The period of detention of the accused shall be counted in the service of his sentence. The accused is likewise ordered to pay the private complainants the following: The amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000) as civil indemnity; The amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000) as moral damages; and The amount of Thirty Thousand Pesos (P30,000) as exemplary damages. SO ORDERED.
