Ruling

WHEREFORE, in the light of the foregoing, the Court hereby finds the accused, Jimmy Soriano, guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of RAPE as defined and penalized under Article 335 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua, to indemnify the private complainant [AAA] the amount of P50,000.00, the amount of P50,000.00 as moral damages, P25,000 as exemplary damages, to give support to [AAAs] offspring and to pay the costs of suit. SO ORDERED.
