WHEREFORE , premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered finding accused AQUIL PILPA GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder defined and penalized under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code qualified by treachery and hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA without eligibility of parole. They are ordered to indemnify jointly and severally the heirs of the victim DAVE ALDE the sum of P75,000.00 as civil indemnity, P75,000.00 as moral damages and P30,000.

They are ordered to indemnify jointly and severally the heirs of the victim DAVE ALDE the sum of P75,000.00 as civil indemnity, P75,000.00 as moral damages and P30,000.00 as exemplary damages. Considering that the accused is a detention prisoner, he shall be given full credit for the period of his preventive detention conformably to Article 29 of the Revised Penal Code. SO ORDERED.
