TL;DR — Ruling
WHEREFORE , premises considered, the court finds accused LORENZO RAYTOS Y ESPINO GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder qualified by treachery, defined and penalized under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua . He is likewise ordered to pay the heirs of the victim David Araza the following amounts: P50,000.00 as civil indemnity; P50,000.00 as moral damages; and P12,896.
