Ruling

WHEREFORE, this Court finds accused Romeo Orio and Rodolfo Orio guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder and are hereby sentenced to the penalty of reclusion perpetua . Both accused are further ordered to indemnify the family of the deceased the sum of P50,000.00 and actual expense[s] for burial of P6,500.00, without subsidiary imprisonment in case of insolvency. Upon promulgation, both accused should immediately be transferred to the National Penitentiary in Muntinglupa, Metro-Manila. SO ORDERED.
