Ruling

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the prosecution having been able to prove the guilt of the accused FEDERICO ARNAIZ [y ARMONIO] beyond reasonable doubt, the Court finds FEDERICO ARNAIZ [ y ARMONIO] GUILTY of the crime of rape punishable under Article 335 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended, by Section 11 of R.A. [No.] 7659 and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of Reclusion Perpetua [,] which is imprisonment of twenty (20) years and one (1) day to forty (40) years with all the accessories [sic] provided for by law. Accused FEDERICO ARNAIZ is further ordered to indemnify [AAA [3] ] the amount of P50,000.00[,] as and by way of actual damages; P200,000.00 as moral damages; P100,000.00[,] as exemplary damages; and to pay the cost of suit.
