WHEREFORE, the Court finds the accused Florentino Bascugin y Reyes to be GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of “Rape” and hereby sentences him to suffer imprisonment of Reclusion Perpetua. Accused is also ordered to indemnify the victim Ivee Peñano the sum of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) as moral damages. Cost de oficio.
