WHEREFORE, finding the accused Rolando Lumintigar y Datiles Guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the offense charged he is hereby sentence[d] to RECLUSION PERPETUA and to pay the costs of suit. Said accused is hereby ordered to pay the heirs of the deceased the amount of P39,000.00 [for] the expenses for the funeral, burial and wake of the victim and another sum of P50,000.00 for death indemnity.
