WHEREFORE, the assailed Decision convicting accused-appellants JOAQUIN BARRAMEDA and ADOLFO BELGA of murder is AFFIRMED with the modification that the penalty to be imposed upon each of them shall be r eclusion perpetua in the absence of generic modifying circumstances. They are further ordered to pay the heirs of Ruperto Dizon P50,000.00 for civil indemnity, another P50,000.00 for moral damages, and P6,000.
