Ruling

WHEREFORE there being no reversible error on the part of the Court of Appeals, the Petition is DENIED . Accordingly, the Decision dated March 20, 2014 and Resolution dated September 23, 2014, rendered by the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CV No. 97048, are hereby AFFIRMED with the following MODIFICATIONS : (a) the amount of P29,000.00 as actual damages is deleted; and (b) the amounts of P50,000.00 as temperate damages in lieu of actual damages and P50,000.00 as exemplary damages are awarded to respondent Erlinda Cajimat. All monetary award shall earn interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from date of finality of this judgment until fully paid. SO ORDERED.
