WHEREFORE , the Court GRANTS the petition, REVERSES the amended decision of the Court of Appeals dated February 23, 2006, and REINSTATES its decision dated July 12, 2005 in CA-G.R. CV 80401 that denied the petition for reconstitution of title of respondents Apolinario Catarroja, Reynaldo Catarroja, and Rosita Catarroja-Distrito. SO ORDERED.
