Ruling

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the court finds accused ROBERTO ESPERANZA JESALVA alias ROBERT SANTOS guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder defined and penalized under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code as amended and is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of Reclusion Perpetua and to indemnify the heirs of Arnel Ortigosa the amounts of P75,000.00 as civil indemnity, P24,000.00 as actual damages, P50,000.00 as moral damages and P30,000.00 as exemplary damages. Let an alias warrant of arrest be issued against accused RYAN MENIEBA y LABINA and JUNIE ILAW, the same to remain standing until their apprehension. SO ORDERED.
