WHEREFORE , premises considered, the April 15, 2016 Decision of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR HC No. 07419, which affirmed the March 9, 2015 Decision of Regional Trial Court, Branch 44, Dagupan City, Pangasinan, in Criminal Case No. 2012-0027-D, is REVERSED and SET ASIDE . Appellant Jaycent Mola y Selbosa a.k.a. " Otok " is ACQUITTED for failure of the prosecution to prove his guilt beyond reasonable doubt. He is ordered IMMEDIATELY RELEASED from detention, unless he is confined for any other lawful cause. Let an entry of final judgment be issued immediately. Let a copy of this Decision be furnished to the Director of the Bureau of Corrections, New Bilibid Prison, Muntinlupa City, for immediate implementation. Said Director is ORDERED to REPORT to this Court within five (5) working days from receipt of this Decision the action he has taken. SO ORDERED.
