Ruling

WHEREFORE, the Court finds accused [ XXX270149 ] GUILTY of Qualified Rape under Article 266-A[,] paragraph 1(d), as qualified under Article 266-B of the RPC, as amended, and hereby imposes upon him the penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA , without eligibility for parole, pursuant to Section 3 of [Republic Act] No. 9346. The accused is likewise ordered to pay of [PHP] 100,000.00 as civil indemnity; [PHP] 100,000.00 as moral damages; and [PHP] 100,000.00 as exemplary damages, with interest at the rate of 6% per annum counted from the date of finality of this judgment until fully paid. SO ORDERED.
