Ruling

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing considerations, the court finds accused [XXX271940] guilty beyond reasonable doubt as principal by direct participation of the crime of violation of Section [10(a)] of [Republic Act] No. 7610 and imposing upon him the indeterminate penalty of four (4) years, nine (9) months[,] and eleven (11) days of prision correccional , as minimum, to eight (8) years, prision mayor , as maximum, with full credit of the period during which he was under detention. He is further ordered to pay private complainant AAA[271940] moral damages in the amount of [PHP] 30,000.00 which shall earn legal interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from the finality of this judgment until fully paid. SO ORDERED.
