WHEREFORE, premises considered, this court finds accused Peter Gerald Scully and accused Carme Ann Alvarez . . . guilty beyond reasonable doubt of committing the crimes charged in [Criminal] Case No. 2014-471-R for qualified trafficking in persons . . . Accordingly, accused Peter Gerald Scully and accused Carme Ann Alvarez a.k.a. Sweet-Sweet are: Sentenced to suffer the penalty of life imprisonment in [Criminal] Case No. 2014-471-R for qualified trafficking of persons, and, moreover, each of them is sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of Five Million Pesos ([PHP]5,000,000.00), and, furthermore, Scully and Alvarez . . . each of them, is ordered to pay jointly and severally the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos ([PHP]500,000.00) for moral damages and One Hundred Thousand [Pesos] ([PHP 100,000.00) for exemplary damages to each of the two minor offended parties, namely, BBB270174 and AAA270174. . . . .
