Ruling

WHEREFORE, premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered finding the accused, [ LEGASPI] AND [DAGANAS] , guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of estafa penalized under Article 315, par. 1(b) of the [RPC], without any aggravating or mitigating circumstance, and are accordingly sentenced to suffer the indeterminate penalty of imprisonment ranging from 4 years and 2 months of prision correccional as minimum to 20 years of reclusion temporal as maximum and to indemnify private complainant, Fung Hing Kit, in the amount of Php9,500,000.00 as well as to pay the costs of suit. SO ORDERED.
