WHEREFORE , this Court finds Accused Lina S. Velayo guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of estafa and, accordingly, sentences her to suffer an indeterminate penalty of four (4) years, one (1) month and one (1) day of prision correccional as minimum to twenty (20) years of reclusion temporal as maximum. Accused is directed to return to private complainant WJA Holdings, Inc. the amount of P3,429,225.
