WHEREFORE, judgment is rendered by this Court finding the accused ROLEN PEÑARANDA y CABALOS, GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Attempted Murder. Accordingly, he is sentenced to suffer the indeterminate penalty of imprisonment of four (4) years and two (2) months of prison ( sic ) correctional ( sic ) as minimum to ten (10) years of prision mayor, as maximum. Accused shall pay the offended party Reynaldo Gutierrez temperate damages of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.
