WHEREFORE , the petition is DENIED . The Decision dated November 20, 2012 and Resolution dated January 22, 2014 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CV No. 01632-MIN are AFFIRMED with MODIFICATION in that petitioner Davao Holiday Transport Services Corporation is ordered to pay interest on the monetary awards in favor of the respondents, Spouses Eulogio and Carmelita Emphasis, at the rate of 6% per annum, to be computed from June 17, 2008 until full satisfaction. SO ORDERED.
