ACCORDINGLY , the petition is GRANTED . The Decision dated August 24, 2017 and Resolution dated January 25, 2018 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. SP No. 149802 are REVERSED and SET ASIDE . Respondents are ORDERED to jointly and severally pay petitioner Franciviel Derama Sestoso the aggregate amount of US$60,000.00 or its peso equivalent at the time of payment, representing total and permanent disability benefits, and ten percent (10%) attorney's fees. This amount shall earn six percent (6%) interest per annum from the date of finality of this decision until full payment. SO ORDERED.
