WHEREFORE, the Appeal is DENIED. We AFFIRM with MODIFICATIONS the January 16, 2014 Joint Decision of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 41, San Fernando City, Pampanga to read as follows: 1) In Criminal Case No. 17318 (Illegal Recruitment), the Court finds accused-appellant Elnora Ebo Mandelma alias "Lathea Estefanos Stellios" GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Illegal Recruitment committed in Large Scale, constituting economic sabotage, as defined and penalized in Sections 6 and 7(b) of Republic Act No. 8042, as amended. She is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Two Million Pesos (Php 2,000,000.00); 2) In Criminal Case No. 17326, the Court finds accused-appellant Elnora Ebo Mandelma alias "Lathea Estefanos Stellios" GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Estafa, as defined and penalized in Article 315, paragraph 2 (a) of the Revised Penal Code. She is hereby sentenced to suffer the indeterminate penalty of four (4) years and two (2) months of prision correccional, as minimum , to eight (8) years, eight (8) months, and twenty-one (21) days of prision mayor, as maximum , and to indemnify Arnold M. Lopez the amount of Fifty One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 51,500.00) with legal interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from November 2, 2010, until such amount is fully paid; 3) In Criminal Case No. 17327, the Court finds accused-appellant Elnora Ebo Mandelma alias "Lathea Estefanos Stellios" GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Estafa, as defined and penalized in Article 315, paragraph 2 (a) of the Revised Penal Code. She is hereby sentenced to suffer the indeterminate penalty of four (4) years and two (2) months of prision correccional, as minimum , to eight (8) years, eight (8) months, and twenty-one (21) days of prision mayor, as maximum , and to indemnify Saigee C. Lozano the amount of Fifty One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 51,500.00) with legal interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum from November 2, 2010, until such amount is fully paid; 4) In Criminal Case No. 17332, the Court finds accused-appellant Elnora Ebo Mandelma alias "Lathea Estefanos Stellios" GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Estafa, as defined and penalized in Article 315, paragraph 2 (a) of the Revised Penal Code.
