WHEREFORE, finding the accused, EVELYN ABADINES CUICO, guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 12, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), she is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of imprisonment for a period of ONE (1) YEAR as minimum to TWO (2) YEARS as MAXIMUM, and to pay a FINE in the amount of P20,000.00. xxxx SO ORDERED.
