WHEREFORE, the appeal is DENIED . The Judgment dated 29 June 2016 in Criminal Case No. 09-719 of Branch 204 of the Regional Trial Court of Muntinlupa City is AFFIRMED with MODIFICATION . The award of civil indemnity and damages in Criminal Case No. 09­719 is MODIFIED as follows: "In accordance with prevailing jurisprudence, Reynaldo Dechoso y Divina is ORDERED to pay AAA P75,000.00 as civil indemnity ex delicto , P75,000.00 as moral damages, and P75,000.00 as exemplary damages, with legal rate of 6% interest per annum from the date of finality of this judgment until fully paid." SO ORDERED.
