WHEREFORE , in light of the foregoing, accused GIANNE CARLA THANARAJ y GLORIA is hereby found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Parricide, defined and penalized under Article 246 of the Revised Penal Code, for the death of her husband Mervin Roy Richard Thanaraj y Manansala, and she is thus sentenced to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua .

WHEREFORE , in light of the foregoing, accused GIANNE CARLA THANARAJ y GLORIA is hereby found GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Parricide, defined and penalized under Article 246 of the Revised Penal Code, for the death of her husband Mervin Roy Richard Thanaraj y Manansala, and she is thus sentenced to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua . As to civil liability, the accused is adjudged LIABLE to the heirs of Mervin Roy Richard Thanaraj y Manansala, excluding herself, for civil indemnity of Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos ([PHP] 75,000.00), moral damages of Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos ([PHP] 75,000.00), and exemplary damages of Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos ([PHP] 75,000.00). Costs against the accused. SO ORDERED.
