WHEREFORE , we find respondent Atty. Meljohn B. De la Peña GUILTY of gross misconduct and accordingly SUSPEND him from the practice of law for two (2) years with a WARNING that the commission of the same or similar act or acts shall be dealt with more severely. Let copies of this Decision be furnished the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the Office of the Bar Confidant, and all courts in the Philippines for their information and guidance.
