WHEREFORE , the Court AFFIRMS with MODIFICATION the July 29, 2004 decision and August 30, 2005 resolution of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. SP 78573, which affirmed the September 30, 2002 decision of the National Labor Relations Commission in NLRC NCR CN. 30-08-03230-00 CA 029785-01.
WHEREFORE , the Court AFFIRMS with MODIFICATION the July 29, 2004 decision and August 30, 2005 resolution of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. SP 78573, which affirmed the September 30, 2002 decision of the National Labor Relations Commission in NLRC NCR CN. 30-08-03230-00 CA 029785-01. The Court ORDERS MERALCO to pay petitioner Daniel O. Paduata separation pay equivalent to one-half month pay for every year of service from the date of his employment on April 24, 1986. SO ORDERED.
