WHEREFORE, premises considered, in Criminal Case No. R-QZN-13-05070, judgment is hereby rendered finding accused Anabelle Yamson y Montero a.k.a. Mommy Janice guilty beyond reasonable doubt of qualified trafficking in persons under Section 4(a), in relation to Sections 3(a)(c), 6(a)(c) and 10(e), and Section 4-B, in relation to Section 10(c) of Republic Act No. 10364, amending Republic Act No. 9208, and she is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of Life Imprisonment and to pay a fine of Two Million Pesos and to pay the costs. Accused Randy Tacda y Huelar a.k.a. Biboy is likewise found guilty beyond reasonable doubt as accomplice for qualified trafficking in persons under Section 4(a), in relation to Sections 3(a)(c), 6(a)(c) and 10(e), and Section 4-B, in relation to Section 10(c) of Republic Act No. 10364, amending Republic Act No. 9208 and he is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of Fifteen (15) years of imprisonment and to pay a fine of [PHP] 500,000.00 and to pay the costs. Accused Yamson and Tacda are further ordered to pay, jointly and severally, private complainants AAA[261134], BBB[261134], CCC[261134], and DDD[261134], [PHP] 500,000.00 each as moral damages and [PHP] 100,000.000 each as exemplary damages. In Criminal Case No. R-QZN-13-05071, accused Anabelle Yamson y Montero a.k.a. Mommy Janice is found guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of child abuse under Section 5(a) of Republic Act No. 7610, as amended[,] and she is hereby sentenced to suffer the penalty of Eight (8) Years and One (1) Day of prision mayor as minimum, to Fourteen (14) Years, Eight (8) months and One (1) day of reclusion temporal as maximum and to pay the cost. SO ORDERED.
