Ruling

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the Court finds the accused MAMERTO OBOSA GUILTY BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT of the crime of MURDER and accordingly sentences him to suffer the penalty of DEATH; to indemnify the heirs of the victim in the sum of P50,000.00; to pay funeral expenses in the amount of P250,000.00, moral damages in the amount of P250,000.00, attorneys fees in the sum of P25,000.00 and the costs of the suit. SO ORDERED.
