Ruling

WHEREFORE , in view of all the foregoing, the Court finds: (a) JUDGE LIBERTY O. CASTAÑEDA guilty of dishonesty, gross ignorance of the law and procedure, gross misconduct and incompetency and hereby DISMISSES her from the service, with forfeiture of all retirement benefits, except accrued leave credits, if any, and with prejudice to reemployment in any branch or instrumentality of the government, including government-owned or -controlled corporations; (b) ATTY. PAULINO I. SAGUYOD guilty of inefficiency and incompetency and hereby SUSPENDS him for six (6) months and one (1) day, without salaries and other benefits, with warning that a repetition of the same or similar acts will be dealt with more severely; (c) SHERIFF LOURDES E. COLLADO; COURT STENOGRAPHERS MARYLINDA C. DOCTOR, EVELYN B. ANTONIO, ROSALIE P. SARSAGAT AND CHERYL B. ESTEBAN; CLERK GEORGE P. CLEMENTE; COURT INTERPRETER MARITONI FLORIAN C. CERVANTES and UTILITY WORKER RUBEN A. GIGANTE guilty of simple neglect of duties and hereby imposes upon them a FINE in the amount of P5,000.00 each, with warning that a repetition of the same or similar acts will be dealt with more severely. Let a copy of this Decision be attached to the records of Judge Castañeda, Atty. Saguyod, Sheriff Collado, Stenographers Doctor, Antonio, Sarsagat and Esteban, Clerk Clemente, Court Interpreter Cervantes and Utility Worker Gigante on file with the Court. SO ORDERED.
