WHEREFORE, IN VIEW OF ALL THE FOREGOING, the Court finds: IN CRIMINAL CASE NO. U-10503: [T]he accused DIOSDADO CAMAT y Sampaga alias Boyet, GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of ATTEMPTED MURDER and applying the Indeterminate Sentence Law, there being no aggravating and mitigating circumstances, hereby sentences him to suffer an imprisonment of TWO (2) YEARS, FOUR (4) MONTHS and ONE (1) DAY of Prision Correccional in its medium period as MINIMUM to EIGHT (8) YEARS and ONE (1) DAY of Prision Mayor in its medium period, as MAXIMUM and to pay the offended party RICARDO HIDALGO the amount of P50,000.00 as moral damages and to pay the cost. The accused JOHN LAUREAN, ROGELIO CAMPOS, IBOT CAMPOS, HENRY CAOILE and SERAFIN DULAY are all ACQUITTED. The accused JUNIOR LOPEZ is still at-large. IN CRIMINAL CASE NO. U-10502: [T]he accused DIOSDADO CAMAT y Sampaga alias Boyet, GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of ATTEMPTED MURDER and applying the Indeterminate Sentence Law, there being no aggravating and mitigating circumstances, hereby sentences him to suffer an imprisonment of TWO (2) YEARS, FOUR (4) MONTHS and ONE (1) DAY of Prision Correccional in its medium period as MINIMUM to EIGHT (8) YEARS and ONE (1) DAY of Prision Mayor in its medium period, as MAXIMUM and to pay the offended party PEDRO HIDALGO the amount of P50,000.00 as moral damages and to pay the cost.
