TL;DR — Ruling
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, the Order dated 15 June 1998 is hereby REVERSED and SET ASIDE . A new judgment is hereby rendered: 1) Declaring plaintiff-appellee not a bona fide tenant over the property in suit; 2) Declaring plaintiff-appellee ineligible to avail of the right of redemption granted under Section 12 of Republic Act No. 3844; 3) Ordering the maintenance of respondents-appellants in peaceful possession of the landholding.
