WHEREFORE, premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered in this case finding accused Roger Liad y Picayo and Emma dela Cruz guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the special complex crime of [r]obbery with [h]omicide punishable under par. 1, Art. 294 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by Sec. 9 of R.A. 7659, and sentences both accused to suffer the penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA, and to pay private complainants as follows: a) P116,957.00 by way of actual damages; b) P100,000.00 by way of moral damages; c) P100,000.00 by way of exemplary damages; and d) P100,000.00 as indemnity for the death of the victims. "Both accused should be credited in full of their preventive imprisonment. "SO ORDERED.
