WHEREFORE, the Court finds accused Marcelino Saltarin y Talosig GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder and there being no mitigating or aggravating circumstances present, hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua . Accused is ordered to pay the heirs of the victim the sum of Php13,500.00 as actual damages, Php50,000.00 as civil indemnity, Php50,000.
