WHEREFORE, premises considered, respondent Sheriff Nestor M. Lanzaderas, Regional Trial Court, Branch 37, General Santos City, is found guilty of simple misconduct, and a FINE equivalent to his one-month salary is hereby imposed upon him. He is, likewise, sternly warned that the commission of the same offense or a similar act in the future will be dealt with more severely. SO ORDERED.
