WHEREFORE, premises considered, judgment is hereby rendered finding the remaining five (5) accused ESMAEL GERVERO, FLORENCIO ARBOLONIO, CELSO SOLOMON, DANILO CASTIGADOR and EDUARDO BAÑES GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of MURDER under Art. 248 of the Revised Penal Code, and hereby sentences each of them as follows: The penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA for the death of Hernando Villegas; The penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA for the death of Jose Villegas; and The penalty of RECLUSION PERPETUA for the death of Benito Basug, Jr. Each of the accused are likewise ordered to pay the heirs of Hernando Villegas, Jose Villegas and Benito Basug, Jr. the following: P15,000.00 as temperate damages; P50,000.00 as civil indemnity; P50,000.00 as exemplary damages; P50,000.00 as moral damages; and To pay the costs.
