WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, judgment is hereby rendered finding accused Gerald Moreno y Tazon GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder and is hereby sentenced to Reclusion Perpetua and ordered to pay [the] heirs of Cecil Mijares the following amounts: PHP75,000.00 as indemnity for his death; PHP603,288.00 as unearned income; PHP31,500.00 as actual damages; PHP50,000.
