TL;DR — Ruling
WHEREFORE, premises considered, the accused is hereby found guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act No. 9165 and is accordingly sentenced to suffer: (1) IN CRIMINAL CASE NO. L-9716: the penalty of imprisonment ranging from twelve (12) years and one (1) day, as minimum, to seventeen (17) years, as maximum, and to pay a fine of P300,00.00;and (2) IN CRIMINAL CASE NO.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, the accused is hereby found guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act No. 9165 and is accordingly sentenced to suffer: (1) IN CRIMINAL CASE NO. L-9716: the penalty of imprisonment ranging from twelve (12) years and one (1) day, as minimum, to seventeen (17) years, as maximum, and to pay a fine of P300,00.00;and (2) IN CRIMINAL CASE NO. L-9717; the penalty of life imprisonment and to pay a fine of P500,000.00. and such accessory penalties provided for in the law. The two (2) sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride subject of these cases are confiscated in favor of the government to be dealt with as the law directs. SO ORDERED.
